I have never heard anyone talk about how they will use this technology to edit EVERY cell in the body…editing an archaea single cell is one thing, but a whole baby in utero already has so many differentiated cells, how can the tech edit ALL cells?

Does it not matter? Seems like it would, depending on the issue.

Keep in mind this is a hypothetical. My own personal musings of our AI-bio-tech future. I’m not talking about every cell in the body but specific athletic performance-enhancing genes that have been and will continue to be identified. CRISPR can introduce mutations, deletions, or insertions to alter the protein product. It’s hard for me to imagine a world in the future when we have all this miraculous life-saving technology where it won’t also be abused by those who can afford it. Would love to hear more of your thoughts on this.
